VJ Icehero 2 Woman - Winter running

VJ Icehero 2 M for men is a pair of well-cushioned winter running shoes that are largely built on the incredibly popular MAXx2 from VJ. The SuperFOAMance midsole is a boost for VJ's shoes while the foot-shaped forefoot provides greater comfort and allows the toes to move freely. Then there's VJ's awesome outsole with 17 star-shaped metal studs, the fitlock system and full-length rockplate.

The midsole material is a big upgrade from their previous material. With the SuperFOAMance material you get a softer and better cushioning and even more energy return while the material is also lighter. Integrated in the midsole is a rock plate that protects against the penetration of stones and roots while providing extra stability. The advantage of superFOAMance is that it retains its resilient properties even when it gets colder, perfect for winter running shoes.

The upper is made of a lightweight and water-repellent material that breathes very well so you get a good climate in the shoes. For extra comfort and stability, the sole base is slightly wider and has a foot-shaped toe box that gives your toes more room to move and reduces the risk of chafing. A snug, high-comfort heel that hugs the heel also reduces the risk of chafing. VJ's fitlock system is on the inside of the foot, which locks the shoes in place over the midfoot and provides extra arch support and protection.

Underneath, the Superior Contact outsole has 17 star-shaped metal studs made of carbon steel that provide great grip on icy and slippery surfaces so you can keep up the pace even if the weather is different!

The VJ Icehero 2 is slightly smaller in size so we recommend going down half a size for a better fit.
