Hello!

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to Finnhamn and our beautiful, cozy, and challenging swimrun race

The Race:

-Race Date: Sunday, August 16, 2026
-Registration opens at Finnhamn at 10:00 a.m.
-Start time for EXPERIENCE+SHORT: 1:00 PM
-You can register for the race here by May 15, 2026.
-Location: Finnhamn, behind Finnhamns Krog and Finnhamns Lanthandel. (2-minute walk from the Waxholmsbolaget pier)
-Race meeting for EXPERIENCE+SHORT: 12:45 p.m.
-Bag check-in is available.
-Outdoor showers and a sauna are available after the race between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The sauna is located 100 meters from the finish line.
 The nearest restroom at the start/finish line is at Slipen, about 70 meters from the start/finish line.
-Hydration/energy stations are available along the course. Bring your own cup, or purchase a silicone cup on-site.
-Energy snacks are available for purchase in the start area.
-Food and drinks will be provided after you cross the finish line.
-Awards ceremony at approximately 4:00 p.m.

After the race, a meal and a beer are included.

The kiosk in Paradisviken is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., where the runners pass by, and there’s also a swimming beach.

Some gear will be available for purchase in the starting area. 
If you’ve rented a wetsuit and are able to, we’d love for you to stop by the store on Thursday, August 14, to pick up and try on your wetsuit. Store hours 

Mandatory equipment:

- Race vest & swim cap - Pick up at WolffWear or at the start
-Neoprene swimsuit
-Silicone cup (Available for purchase for 49 SEK on-site for those who don’t have one, or in the store when picking up your race kit)
-First aid kit
-Whistle

Pickup of race kits:

Since there are many of us at the start and the time between the boat’s arrival and the start is short, we ask that you pick up your numbered race vest from Wolffwearbetween August 13 and 14. Opening hours

Changes:

Changes to registrations/entries will be accepted until Thursday, August 13, at 6:00 p.m.

Insurance & Participation

Participation is at your own risk. The organizer has not taken out accident insurance. It is each participant’s responsibility to ensure that they are insured for:

• Physical activity in nature
• Open-water swimming
• Adventure sports

We recommend accident insurance or recreational sports insurance.



Course markings:

Orange flags
White and red ribbons, orange cones, start and finish markers, signs


Swimrun Rules:


Standard swimrun rules apply, i.e.:
Equipment carried at the start must be present at the finish.
Swimrun lines are permitted.
Look out for one another and offer help to those who need it.
Respect nature and local residents.
If you need to withdraw, contact an official or race management in the finish area.
Maximum 10-meter distance betweenteam members. Diving headfirst into the water is prohibited during transitions.
Any form of littering will result in disqualification 
Everything brought onto the course must be brought back
Respect local residents and other visitors in the area. Diving into the water at the start is prohibited.

 

Officials:

Officials (wearing yellow vests) will be stationed along the course, primarily at entry/exit points and on SUPs/boats.

Safety Information:

If you are registered but cannot start, please notify Wolffwear at info@wolffwear.se.
If you get injured during the race, ask officials and your fellow competitors for help.
If you see a fellow competitor who is injured or in any kind of emergency, provide all the help you can, just as you would want to be cared for. Contact a staff member.
If you need to withdraw from the race, notify a race official and the race directors at the start/finish line.
First-aid kits are available from race officials and at the start/finish line.
Sweeper: We’ll have a sweeper at the back of the pack to ensure no one is left on the course.
