Straight out of the box, the Navigator2 works as a headlamp, but as it comes with a GoPro compatible mount, you can also place the light in a GoPro mount, and attach it to almost any helmet! When orienteering, it is most convenient to put the battery in a so-called battery harness. For more sporadic use, the battery can be stored in the backpack, in the belt or why not around the arm!
Lumonite Slimcore battery
The included Lumonite Slimcore lithium-ion battery provides an operating time between 3 and 48 hours depending on the power mode. It can be attached with the innovative Slimholder attachment in e.g. the belt or the bicycle frame, and the sturdy aluminum case protects from impacts. There is a five-scale indicator in the battery which, with the push of a button, reveals how much of the battery's charge remains. The battery also contains a smart function that does not turn off the light completely when the battery runs out, but gradually lowers the brightness - so you never have to get lost in the dark.

Developed for maximum continuous power
The Lumonite DX3500 light fixture is designed to be able to deliver continuous power, therefore maximum cooling capacity is required. This is achieved by large parts of the lamp being covered by efficient cooling fins. The fixture is made from a single piece of aluminum to ensure maximum heat dissipation. It is also equipped with advanced heat-regulating electronics, which actively monitors the temperature in the lamp. This is to be able to keep the light intensity as high as possible at all times under all conditions.

Doesn't leave you in the dark when the battery runs out
One of the features of the Lumonite DX3500 light fixture is that it does not allow you to run out of battery at the highest power setting, even if it were technically possible. When the battery starts to run down, the highest power setting would cause it to run out completely in just a few minutes, but with a lower power setting, you can get much longer burn time out of the lamp. When the "official" burning time is over, the lamp also continues to shine with a luminous flux of approx. 250 lumens for over an hour. This lamp will not leave you stranded when the battery runs out!
Quick guide
The Lumonite DX series is easy to use ? the lamp is switched on using the switch on the top of the lamp fixture. After that, a simple press of the power switch makes you switch between the different power modes: low ? medium ? high. The maximum mode is activated with a simple double click. Double-click again to return to the previous effect mode.
Can also be used with an external power source
The Lumonite DX3500 lamp fixture can also be connected directly to a 12 or 24V system using a transformer. The lamp is designed so that you can use an external switch to turn the lamp on and off!
