Amphibian Man Sprint Swimrun:

Amfibiemannen Sprint Swimrun, a swimrun race for everyone! Technical running for those looking for challenges, short distances for beginners, family atmosphere.

Welcome to Amfibiemannen and one of Sweden's most beautiful Swimrun courses!

The first Amfibiemannen, founded by Jan-Henrik Bäck, took place in 2011 and became a classic swimrun race where many good memories have been created.

The course will include just over 13 km of running and 2.5 km of swimming. The idea of the course is for the competitors to take part in our unique outer archipelago north of Stockholm, without disturbing nature and wildlife. We make our way through unpaved terrain in forests, along small paths, on Arholma's gravel roads, over islands and rocks, through mountains, over bays and open sea.
Out on the rocks in the Åland Sea, down into Arholma fort and past the iconic Arholma boat.

My Swimrun Championships is an exciting series of global swimrun events celebrating the sport in beautiful, culturally rich locations. The Amphibian Man Swimrun is part of this prestigious series. The series offers athletes an unparalleled opportunity to take part in a first-class event, showcasing their endurance and skill in the stunning surroundings of Finnhamn. About Arholma:
Arholma is one of the most magnificent islands in Stockholm's outer archipelago, located where the archipelago meets the open sea. The race is suitable for:
The race is suitable for both beginners and more experienced swimrunners and can be completed solo, in women's teams, men's teams or in mixed teams. After the race, the grills will be ready to serve food to replenish the depots.

Transportation:
Travel: Easy by bus and Stockholm to Simpnäs and pass boat to Arholma or Vaxholm boat from Strömkajen to Arholma.

Regular passport boat departs Simpnäs at 10.40, limited space.
Chartered boat departs Simpnäs at 11.15, 125kr ToR

Return:
Regular passport boat departs Arholma at prell. 18.10, limited space.
Chartered boat departs Arholma at 17.30.


Food:
After the race, grilled hamburgers and cold beer are served down by the beach! (included in the registration fee)

Officials and safety boats:
All swims have an entry guard, some distances also have an exit guard. All swim distances longer than 100 m are manned by at least one safety boat per swim distance.

Energy station with sports drinks and water is located along the course.
Umara offers sports drinks! Bring a silicone cup, otherwise it is available for purchase at the start for SEK 49.

Wellness allowance:
Use your Wellness Allowance for the Amphibian Sprint Swimrun. You can use the Wellness Grant for exercise races up to SEK 1000 per race. Read more here.

Safety:
Medical personnel, escort boats, etc. will be on site.
The competition is at your own risk, make sure to be properly insured. Children over 15 with documented swimming knowledge / experience are welcome to participate with a parent.
